Entry Requirements

- The valid passport for the duration of the stay is required for French nationals (however, request confirmation from your airline, because some refuse an invalid documents least 3 months after the date of return).
A passport valid for three months after the return of Morocco asked the Belgian and Swiss nationals.
- The ID card can be tolerated for French nationals traveling to the south and organized group.

But always check with the tour operator, the embassy or consulate of Morocco in his country of origin before departure, as well as from the tourist office or the airline (some refuse card identity). For many people, equipped with a simple identity card, still do every year repress.
Be aware that a passport is sometimes necessary in banks to exchange (including traveler's checks). It is therefore prudent to leave with a passport.
For Canadians, the passport is mandatory in all cases.
- No visa for citizens of the European Union (the same for the Swiss and the Canadians), but the stay can not exceed three months. For those wishing to stay longer (with a maximum of 3 other months), the request for extension must be made on the basis of proof of residence and income, if possible upon arrival, with the nearest police station at least two weeks before the expiry of the initial period of validity (required passport).

- To rent a car in Morocco, the national driving license is sufficient. But one must have 1 year license and credit card. Also note that in case of non-redemption of the franchise, most companies block the amount of the deductible until delivery of the vehicle (and the latter, which, however, varies with the lessor and the category of the car, can be very high!). The operation is then canceled. It is advisable to be well informed before the start of the rental conditions and to provide, where appropriate, the availability of the amount on the card.
